The Washington Post recently called a David Burgess performance "Beautifully played with impressive technique and a fine sense of style". Maryland Hall audiences remember a sold out show two years ago for this first prize winner of the Andres Segovia Fellowship Competition in New York City. His extensive travels in Spain and Latin America have garnered him praise from all corners of the world and caused Andres Segovia himself to declare that David is "an artist of music with a magnificent technique".
