Ash Wednesday Service - Religious Service - Bloomingdale United Methodist Church

Lent begins on Ash Wednesday. All are welcome to join the Bloomingdale United Methodist Church, (65 Main St., Bloomingdale), on Ash Wed, Feb 22, 2012, as we celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion. During the service, ashes will be placed on the foreheads of those who wish to receive them, as each one ponders the meaning of his or her mortality in light of the cross. The service begins at 7:30 pm and is preceded by a sacrificial meal, shared in the Friendship Room of Troxler Hall at 6:30 pm.
