Top of the Morning to You! Irish Brunch

Sunday, Mar 18 11:00a
Age Suitability: None Specified
Tags: food, seminars

The Irish breakfast is about as traditionally Irish as you can get. Farmers’ wives primarily served it to their husbands to get them off to a good start for the day. This had to last them through a hard day’s work. It would be a long time until dinnertime rolled around. Even today people that stay in one of Ireland’s popular Bed and Breakfast’s say after eating this breakfast in the morning they have no need for lunch. If they do eat lunch its light fare. See what “breakfast is the most important meal of the day” really means. This is no ordinary breakfast; it’s a fully cooked meal that can be eaten at any time of the day and will keep your grumbling belly at bay for hours. So come on over for the typical hangover-curing Irish breakfast, complete with all the meat and whiskey you expect from our friends over on the English Isles!
Recipes: Irish Cream Coffee, Bangers, Eggs Nestled In Rashers, Black Pudding, White Pudding, Irish Baked Beans, Oven Roasted Herbed Tomatoes, Irish Soda Bread with Butter & Dubliner Cheese, Whiskey Shots for the Brave.
Class Type: Brunch, hands-on cooking class
Class Notes: Learn the very meat centric traditional Irish Breakfast!
