Carmine's II

Carmine’s II, Carmine Gangone’s second restaurant in Williamsburg, opened in 2010, continuing the tradition of fresh ingredients, carefully crafted pizza, and a menu that reminds of standard Italian dishes, but outdoes them. A storied Yankees fan, and a neighborhood institution, Gangone follows in his father Gaetano’s footsteps, building a Brooklyn empire of mozzarella, sauce and crust on an immigrant’s dream and a dedication to one’s craft. Both restaurants are family-run, and you can often see Carmine jetting from one to the other on his Vespa. Carmine’s, the original, still operates at 358 Graham Avenue.
