BRIC Community Media Center

BRIC Community Media Center provides all Brooklynites with access to studio facilities, equipment and training. Our media facility is temporarily located at 242 3rds Street in Gowanus, Brooklyn at The Old American Can Factory. This interim location is equipped with a studio, a mini-studio and six editing bays equipped with AVID editing software and a media training lab. It also houses BRIC's community media offices, and is home to the Brooklyn's community access television network, BCAT TV Network as well as the Brooklyn Center for Media Education.
The majority of our facility is reserved for use by our BCAT Media Center Certified Community Producers. After completion of basic studio and/or field and editing classes at the Brooklyn Center for Media Education, our Certified Community Producers are able to use our studios, editing bays, cameras and other production equipment free of charge.
