Opened in May 2007, The Puddingstone Inn is Chester's newest restaurant. The proprietors of the famous Sally Lunn's Tea Shoppe, now in its 18th year have ventred out across Route 206 to save the old Larison Turkey farm. The 200 year-old building has been lovingly restored from near dereliction to an elegant shinning yet cozy retreat.
Firstly, there is a warm, stylish English Pub named after the Topping family that dwelled in the house in the 1800's with full bar and live music every Friday night. Next, there are three other dining rooms:
The Parlor Room, which seats 50, decorated in the Victorian style and is available for nearly any special occasion. Pine fireplaces lay across the wall, and it can be closed off for complete privacy.
Main Dining Room, which seats up to 150, with gleaming wooden floors, Tiffany lamps, and historical memorabilia to fill your imagination about times gone by. And finally,
The Coffee House, which seats up to 25, which is perfect for breakfast or lunch meetings or an intimate dinner. With the beautiful leather furniture it would also make a great place for an impressive business meeting.
