Since January 2008, residents of Edison and fans of the restaurant have been anxiously awaiting the reopening of The New York Times highly-acclaimed Moghul of Edison. Well without further hesitation, Moghul restaurant will be accepting reservations in its newly renovated space on March 25th to coincide with India’s Holi Festival of Color. Moghul’s transformation includes high ceilings, dark woods, hand-painted tapestries and dramatic lighting. The space also incorporates the royal colors of the Mughal Empire: blue, gold and ivory. Moghul is also expanding their open Tandoor room to include a grill station.
With dishes like the Tandoor prepared Murgh Tikka, fresh fish Machll Hara Masala and the tender Peshawari kebabs, diners will again enjoy the finest traditional Indian cuisine known to the East Coast.
