Empower Girls With MATH
Girls will have an exciting opportunity to explore different types of Stem careers in medicine by interacting with role models they can relate to.
A panel of female healthcare professionals will share about their day-to-day experience in the workplace - -what their jobs are like, why they chose them, and what they love about their work. Participants will learn more about the hospital’s robotic surgeon from one of the female surgeons - - and even get to try it out using the simulator. A light dinner will be served, during which participants will have a chance to sit in small groups with the panelists -- so that they can get to know these role models a bit better in a more relaxed context.
