Parkinson's Support Group

The next monthly meeting of the Parkinson’s Disease Northern Valley New Jersey Support Group is Saturday March 3, 2012 at 12:30PM. The meeting will be held at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 276 Haworth Avenue (lower level), Haworth, NJ. Support group meetings are a way to help Parkinson's Disease patients cope with problems they all share. The group offers social and emotional support to patients and their care partners, education and information from peers and professionals, and a chance to be active for oneself and for others in the community. Members give and receive information and encouragement through the mail, phone calls, and the group meetings. The March meeting will include yoga (by “Jack”) exercise followed by a presentation from Ms. Kimberly A. Paton Esq. of the Paton Law firm, Paramus, NJ. The topic of the presentation is, “Estate Planning . . . ain’t just wills.”
