Music from the Heart Concert

The 3rd Annual Music from the Heart concert will benefit Schreiber Pediatric Rehab Center.. Admission is free (no tickets needed) and light refreshments will be served. Donations will be collected to benefit the therapy services of Schreiber Pediatric Rehab Center, a local not-for-profit serving children with special needs from birth to age 21. A snow date has been scheduled for Saturday, March 3.
With the help of her friends and family, Kim Shank and her brother-in-law Jason Rieker, have been organizing this event for the past three years. Shank’s daughter, Abbrielle, received Occupational and Speech-Language therapy at Schreiber Pediatric for nearly six years as part of her treatment for Autism.
This year’s Music from the Heart concert will feature a variety of local artists. Back for a third year is the barbershop quintet, The McCoy Boys. Returning for the second time are vocalist and music therapist, Katie Eshleman, barbershop quartet Break from Blue Collar, Billy Joel fan and concert organizer Jason Rieker’s band, Odd Man Out, and premier Philadelphia classic rock band, Back2Life. Bryan Jordan from 101 the Rose Breakfast Club will emcee the event, filling interludes with information about Schreiber Pediatric’s many services to children in Lancaster County and surrounding areas.
Last year, "Music from the Heart" raised close to $2,000 for the Center.
