The Lancaster County Bird Club will meet in the auditorium of the Farm and Home Center.
Dr. Dan Ardia will present research that he and his students at Franklin & Marshall College conducted on local bird populations, including wintering birds at Millport Conservancy, Tree Swallows nesting at Lancaster Central Park, American Kestrels at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary and Red-tailed Hawks in Lancaster city. Dr. Ardia is an Assistant Professor of Biology at Franklin & Marshall College, where he and his students conduct local and global research on how environmental change affects bird behavior and physiology.
A short business meeting will precede the program. The public is invited to attend free of charge and may call (717) 393-2546 or (717) 393-4091 with questions. The club website is www.lancasterbirdclub.org.
