Canadian pianist and singer Diana Krall is known for her lush contralto vocals and strikingly sensitive piano-playing. She’s transcended barriers of genre to become a popular artist who has carved herself a permanent position at the top of the jazz charts. In addition to eight Juno Awards, Krall has won Grammy Awards for Best Jazz Vocal and Best Jazz Vocal Album. She’s also the only jazz singer to have eight albums debuting at the top of the Billboard Jazz charts.
