Make Wall Street Pay Rally

It’s not fair that the big banks and financial corporations that caused a large part of this country's economic woes, take no accountability. Meanwhile people are still losing their houses, bank fees and credit card rates are outrageous. And these banks continue to make huge profits. Third Quarter net income: Bank of America $6.2 Billion, JP Morgan Chase $4.3 Billion, Citibank $3.8 Billion. That is for 3 months work..

The big banks have tried to blame the borrowers who they say should have known if they couldn’t pay. BUT the banks were there offering and ok-ing the loans and they were giving credit cards to everyone.

Ultimately these corporations don’t care about the customer: they are only interested in bottom line, stock investors and their bonuses. Unethical bank business practices are still unchecked and will continue to hurt the average person, and I fear destroy this country.

But there is something we can do. Stop doing business with them. Join tens of thousands of people who are switching banks and closing accounts. I moved my money to a credit union.

November 5th is MAKE WALL STREET PAY day of action. A rally will be held in Lancaster at 100 N Queen Street between 10 am –noon. I invite you to participate in helping to get the message of our outrage to the financial sector. We can’t let them off the hook for the damage they’ve done to our economy.
