K of C Council 6810 Free Throw Championship

The Knights of Columbus Council 6810 Annual Free Throw Championship competition is scheduled for:

- SUNDAY, JANUARY 22, 2012
- 1 PM to 5 PM
- HAMBRIGHT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
- 2121 Temple Ave, Lancaster

All boys and girls ages 10 to 14 are invited to participate. A CONTESTANT'S AGE CATEGORY IS DETERMINED BY HIS OR HER AGE AS OF JANUARY 1, so if a contestant turned 15 years old after January 1, he or she is still eligible to participate. Participants are required to furnish proof of age (e.g., a copy of their birth certificate) and written parental consent. Each contestant may participate in only one council-level competition each year.

All contestants are recognized for their involvement in the event and receive a Certificate of Participation. Additionally, winners in each age and in each gender category will receive a Winner's Certificate and an engraved wall plaque.

Winners progress through local, district, regional and state competition. International champions are announced by the K of C international headquarters based on scores from the state-level competitions.
