Meadowood Lecture Series: "Petra - The Rose City Half as Old as Time"

Dr. Stephen R. Phillips will present “Petra - The Rose City Half as Old as Time” at 7 pm on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Meadowood. This presentation is part of the Outreach Lecture Program and is funded by the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archeology and Anthropology.

Nestled in a mountainous basin in a remote, rugged corner of Jordan lays the magnificent ruins of the ancient city of Petra, recently named one of the “New Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.”
