The Teddy Bedrossian Ski-a-Thon enhances educational opportunities for children with special needs by helping to renovate the aging Davidson School building on Elwyn’s Media campus.
The Ski-a-Thon was founded in memory of Teddy Bedrossian, a former Elwyn Davidson School student. Teddy was a blond-haired, blue-eyed, medically fragile special needs boy. When he was born, doctors predicted he would only live to be 4 months old. He lived to be 18 years old before passing away four years ago.
