Dorothy Young Center for the Arts

The main portion of Drew's newest building, the Dorothy Young Center for the Arts, opened in January 2003; a Music Wing and 400-seat performance hall opened in February 2005. The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra said acoustics in the hall are remarkable. The facility is home to the Studio Arts, Theatre Arts, and Music departments. The Center was made possible by a $14 million gift from namesake Dorothy Young and a $5 million gift from the State of New Jersey.
