Cabaret Theatre

Cabaret Theatre is a non profit student-run theater company located on the Douglass Campus of Rutgers University, New Brunswick. Founded in 1975, Cabaret Theatre is the oldest student theater company at Rutgers University. The theatre's mission has always been to provide the Rutgers community with affordable quality entertainment and offer university students opportunities to learn about acting, directing, tech work, playwriting, marketing, business management, etc. Cabaret is known for putting on a variety of productions (straight plays, musicals, comedies, dramas, original plays, etc) and strives to experiment with theatre. We put on anywhere from 5-6 main-stage productions and 3-6 special projects over the course of an academic year.
