This course will address which business problems can it solve, and show how can it help you to scale faster and create the kinds of products that just aren't feasible using traditional databases. We'll start by introducing the NoSQL movement and examining the kinds of results it has already produced.
Then we'll look at the four main types of NoSQL databases - key:value, column store, document database, and graph. We'll then take a look at when and why to use them each, who else is using them, and which projects you should look at first.
