The Late 90s / Trike

The Late 90s is an iO Chicago Harold team made up of some of the best performers in the Chicago improv scene. Players perform at other notable Chicago theaters as The Second City, The Annoyance, The Playground Theater, and Chemically Imbalanced Comedy. Nominated for Best Harold Team at iO's annual Del Awards, they are known for their support and group play to create a fast paced, hilarious, and thematic show.

Magnet Theater improv veterans, Peter McNerney and Nick Kanellis, have been performing their brand of seamless, high energy, free-form improv since 2002 and together make up the improv duo TRIKE (Time Out New York Critic's Pick). Starting with a single audience suggestion, Trike creates a completely original and fully improvised comedic piece of theater every Saturday night at the Magnet Theater. Each show explores a spread of detailed characters in scenes that flow seamlessly from one to the next, making it seem as though Peter and Nick are sharing a single mind. Trike is fast, fearless, physical and like no improv show you've seen before.
