This year Branching Out for a Cause has chosen to raise awareness for Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, better known as PSP, in honor of Patricia Collier. The experience of PSP is similar to Lou Gehrigs/ALS only in this cruel way: ones body progressively fails while the min d remains completely aware of everything that is happening. You are trapped in your body, no longer able to speak, swallow, move on your own, nor fully see. Only one entity is working on the disease exclusively: CurePSP. Patricia Collier and her family were blessed by the work of CurePSP.
