The Late 90s / The Era

The Late 90s is an iO Chicago Harold team made up of some of the best performers in the Chicago improv scene. Players perform at other notable Chicago theaters as The Second City, The Annoyance, The Playground Theater, and Chemically Imbalanced Comedy. Nominated for Best Harold Team at iO's annual Del Awards, they are known for their support and group play to create a fast paced, hilarious, and thematic show.

The Era is a two woman improv show that takes its audience through a whirlwind of grounded and just hovering above ground characters. They begin with an extended scene where they explore their characters' relationships, idiosyncrasies, and peculiar details of life and then take these sentiments and references through the rest of the show where new characters are introduced and familiar ones are revisited. Their energy and wild characters make you forget there's only two people on stage. Both Katz and Ashley are regular performers at Chicago's iO theater and The Playground Theater.
