MEHNDI: The Art of Henna Body Painting Workshop + Lunch

Join us on Saturday August 29th for a delicious lunch of fine Indian cuisine and a creative henna workshop at Baluchi's Restaurant located at 310 5th Ave in Park Slope, Brooklyn. The event will be from 1:00 to 3:30 PM.

Lunch will be followed by an interactive lecture about the culture and the art of Henna. Henna Design techniques will be demonstrated by renowned henna artist and instructor, Lisa “kenzi” Butterworth. She will cover the history and tradition of henna, along with the science of preparing the perfect henna paste, as well as how to preserve henna designs on the skin. There will be hands on opportunities for eager attendees and a gift sample kit containing a henna cone, paste, stencil and usage instructions for each guest.
