A former storage area for Trinity Church, Charlotte's place is now a place for the diverse communities living, working, and going to school in Lower Manhattan: a comfortable, inviting, bright space with WiFi access, connections to services for people in need, and arts events such as poetry readings and plays. Named for a devoted, long-time member of the Parish, “Charlotte’s Place” will be open to all and free to use – a place where volunteers can connect and other affinity groups can meet.
Trinity’s hope is that Charlotte’s Place will be a valuable addition to the neighborhood. It will not serve food or beverages, but it will be a place of tremendous activity, and a draw for people neighborhood-wide.
