The Oak Room at the Plaza Hotel

Originally known as “The Men’s Bar,â€* the Legendary Oak Room has been restored to its original grandeur. A German Renaissance tour de force, the oak-paneled room looks the same today as it did when The Plaza opened in 1907. Re-opened in Fall 2008, The Oak Room once again provides the quintessential New York experience.
Enjoy New American cuisine while dining in The Oak Room or The Oak Bar. Our more formal menu is served in The Oak Room, surrounded by original tile flooring and the famous Oak walls; a lighter, more casual menu is served in our Oak Bar, overlooking Central Park. Reservations are taken up to six weeks in advance.
