Once upon a time, two Irish cousins opened a French bistro. Mark (me) and Colm (him) set out to create a place where we would want to eat. From the comfortable atmosphere & Colm's wine and beer selection to my musical obsessions as mood music, Tree is everything we'd been looking for in a neighborhood spot. With relaxed, garden-seating, and entrees so reasonably priced as to max out at $23 (with one special exception), we hope everything you've been looking for, too. We think the easy mood is as perfect for a post-work glass of wine as it is for a date. Our secret garden out back is what we're known for (& the food!) and it's easy to see why. Candle-lined bamboo fences surround the slate-ground patio, while lush greenery grows up around antique-framed mirrors and whimsical oddities. Sitting there in the midst of a mid-summer night's breeze is intoxicating. But fear not, winter-daters. The garden has a retractable roof & heating. Come rain, snow, the garden is ready for action.
