The recent face-lift given to the former "Yellow Dog" certainly helped the overall feel and look. But, now attention needs to be given to the menu as well as the "Ugly Mutt's" patrons.
The menu has been downsized and the prices seem to have inflated a bit. Not a good idea in times like these.
The wait staff could also use some trainingg in customer service.
Every now and again, I get a craving for ribs. I've been patronizing this venue for several years now and always order a 1/2 rack - usually more than plenty. I recenty ordered a 1/2 rack and thought it looked a slight bit larger than normal but just thought they were being generous. When I got the check, I was thrown for a loop. $25 and change and all I had to drink was one Ice Tea. I was charged for a full rack of ribs. When I commented to my server, her reply was "well, you ate a whole one". I replied, "I always order a half, never a whole". She replied "You ordered and ate a whole". Not the response I was expecting, that's for sure.
