Save the Arts...Save the Kids Fundraiser Gala

For our 1 year anniversary Noni’s Patois will be raising money to send 10-25 children to the Freedom Theater’s Performing Arts Training Program that provides training to over 10,000 students from age three to adults with a safe, challenging environment in which they’ll learn acting, dancing and vocal arts for the summer of 2012. The cost for this program is $1000 per child that covers 6 weeks of training.
However, today’s tough economic conditions make it difficult for us to send these children to the Freedom Theater without help from people like you. We are writing to invite you to donate your time and money for this “Save the Arts…Save the Kids Fundraiser Gala” which will be held on April 1, 2012.
Children who are benefiting from the donation are those who are under privileged, come from a single family household and are not able to provide the cost to attend the Freedom Theater. These children will be selected by principals within the Philadelphia school district between the ages of 11-17. These are children with good grades as well as good attendance in school. If we are able to send 10-25 children to the Freedom Theater that’s 10-25 less kids participating in “Philly’s Flash Mob” of violence.
Noni’s Patois wants to help give back to the community as well as helping save our youth from violence. Your donation will be recognized and will make a difference in these children lives.
