From her debut as “Luttibelle” in the acclaimed… Show more Freedom Theater’s production of Purlie to her starring role as the sexy and seductive “Giulietta Trapani” in the historic Walnut Street Theatre’s production of Aspects of Love, Danielle has not stopped moving forward and shows no signs of slowing down whatsoever. Earning two Barrymore Award nominations-one for her role as 'Anita' in the New Candlelight Theater's production of 'West Side Story,' and the other for her role in the hit production, RESPECT, Danielle has no doubt become a staple artist in Philly. She performed most of the 2007-2009 Mainstage season at the Walnut in classics like, Carousel, Man of La Mancha (gypsy dancer), Peter Pan, Les Mis (factory girl), State Fair, Hairspray (dynamite), and in the Frank Sinatra musical tribute, My Way. She also appeared in the acclaimed production, Caroline, or Change at the Arden Theatre, The Tin Pan Alley Rag at the Wilma Theater, and in the Lantern Theatre’s production of Death, and the King’s Horseman. Beyond theater, she continues to branch out, crossing over into other mediums of the Business. She is a former background vocalist of fellow Philly diva, Jill Scott, and has been actively working on a debut album of her own. Now, with the world premiere of her 1-woman musical cabaret, she plans to continue branching out, taking her show on the road. To show the depth of this young female phenom after seeing her perform in RESPECT, the legendary Patty Labelle was quoted as saying ..."Baby-girl...do you know what 'It' is?
