The Irish Pol (formerly Jagers), with its non-descript, long, straight room dominated by a non-descript long, straight, bar, at first appears so generic it seems it should be called BAR. That is, until you see the beer taps. There are 40 of them. They're all microbrews. They change weekly. And they carry some of the rarest beers in the city. The assortment ranges from locals to obscures like Left Hand Sawtooth Ale, Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin Ale and Big Eye IPA. The menu provides detailed descriptions and bartenders provide samples.
