Coquette, it seems, has the classic aplomb - & timeless concept - to Like any good flirt (that's "coquette" in French), Neff's boite has the retro-Paris look down pat, from the hexagon-tiled floor, tin ceiling & '30s lamps inside to the rattan cafe chairs that gaze out onto this boulevard stretch of Bainbridge Street. Coquette's raw bar is bursting with fresh oysters from both coasts, locally harvested clams & jumbo shrimp. The menu is printed daily, but the crowd favorites like whole roasted fish, cheese plates, & char-burgers are always available. Coquette is very family friendly (the owner as a 1 year old). Leave the stroller outside & use the changing tables in the restrooms. We gladly will accommodate any dietary restrictions or special requests. This place will remind you of the small & quaint bistros in Europe.
