Liberties is an authentically restored tavern from its historically accurate facade to its rich walnut interior. It boasts Philadelphia's most magnificent Victorian bar and the ambiance of a traditional American saloon. Many of the interior fixtures are original pieces dating back to the mid to late 1800's. The tavern is known in Northern Liberties as a favorites for lunch, diner, or happy hour for locals and visitors alike. You can always count on the sound of music, sports games and conversation to greet you when you walk through the door. Liberties offers a beautifully appointed upstairs available for private parties, weddings, and catered events. With seating for over 75 people we can create unique menus and buffets to fit your needs. We are also available to do catering for your home or business.
