Chick Corea's 17 Grammys and five decade career is the stuff of jazz legend. He has delved into diverse recordings with electronic ensembles, solo piano, classical music, and high-powered acoustic duos. One of the latter was with the supreme master of the vibes, Gary Burton (6 Grammys) on 1972's Crystal Silence, one of the seminal jazz recordings of that decade. And now the two have reunited once again on a new CD, Hot House, this time joined by the classically trained Harlem String Quartet.
