Dicapo Opera Theatre's La Traviata

One of the 10 most performed operas of all time; Giuseppe Verdi's La Traviata tells the story of Violetta, an infamous courtesan in fragile health, her lover, The Baron, and Alfredo, a young nobleman who worships her from afar. La Traviata ("fallen woman") features some of the best-known opera tunes, like the drinking song "Libiamo," the love song "Amami, Alfredo," ("Love me, Alfredo"), and "Parigi, O Cara," ("Dearest, We'll Leave Paris").
