New Jersey AIDS Walk

One Day - One Cause - Seven Locations
 
Seven of NJ's Premier A Ids S ervice O rganizations spanning every region of the Garden State will join together again to raise awareness and funds for those living with and/or affected by Hiv/Aids. 
Ridgewood - Newark - Morristown - New Brunswick - Asbury Park - Pennsauken - Atlantic City
With more than 50,000 people currently living with Hiv/Aids in New Jersey, we have never needed the community's support more.
NJ Buddies hopes you will join us at our site: the Saddle River County Park (Ridgewood Duck Pond) in Ridgewood, NJ.

The event will begin at 11:30 am with Registration, during which participants receive their T-Shirts, help themselves to refreshments, interact with sponsorship representatives and activities, and view the Aids Memorial Quilt.
At 12:30 pm, everyone will gather at the Pavilion for the opening ceremony and group photo. At 1:00 pm, a guest speaker will deliver a speech; local politicians appear as well. Participants (in Ridgewood and the other locations) step-off for the 5K Walk at 1:30 pm. Participants will be in athletic attire, with T-shirts provided on the day of the event.
Expected attendance is > 2100 statewide. It is our goal, through advertising and promotions, to reach the over 8 million residents infected and affected by Hiv/Aids.
