Here's a story about a little boy named Billy... who loved the Beach... Animals... Eddie and the Cruisers... Taco Bell... Pizza... and making his own Decadent Desserts. When in the winter of 2003 when the historic ice cream parlor Beaches N' Cream came up for sale that was located on the very same street where famed movie "Eddie and the Cruisers" was filmed... This young man couldn't resist... he bought the building... quit his job in Philly... grabbed a hammer & saw... then moved to the Jersey Shore to sell ice cream by the beach. Ahhh!.... if only ice cream paid the bills... hence the birth of the Gringo Grill... Home of the east coasts original "California Style" fish taco and the legend of taco bill.. the man with a dog named Bob...who serves everything in a pizza box... in a little restored shack by the beach on Bay Ave in Somers Point NJ.. who along with Chef Kev... makes the best tacos & desserts at the entire Jersey Shore. Food and shelter obtained... all we needed was clothing to obtain the final essential element of live... So began High Tide & Surf (established in 2007)... a very innovative and intimate surf gear and apparel shop... with everything from surfboards to surfer baby clothes. We stock the latest fashions from lines such as Billabong, IO'Neill Volcom, Matrix, Element, Ezekiel and scores of others. Everything at Taco Bill/High Tide Surf is BIG...From the portions to the savings... From our 32oz soda and milkshake glasses...
