Stone Center for Yoga & Health

The Stone Center for Yoga & Health is a community where people gather to practice yoga and meditation, enjoy healing arts, relax, share, and grow. Its mission is to promote well-being for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, and to train yoga teachers to share this safe, sensible approach. At Stone Yoga, students are invited to discover a “yoga of living” that will serve them on and off the mat.

The Stone Yoga Method offers safe, sensible, highly adaptive yoga to people of all ages, fitness levels and needs. Across all our classes, from the gentlest to the most challenging, our instructors are guided by a consistent methodology, which is strengthening, mindful, and deeply respectful of each student’s individual needs.

The studio offers hatha, vinyasa, power, sculpt, “hot,” gentle, stress reducing, and therapeutic yoga classes, Pilates, and private sessions. We also bring yoga, meditation, and stress reduction programs to corporations, non-profit organizations, and schools. Whichever program you attend, you are welcomed with warmth and acceptance, in a supportive, non-competitive environment of inclusiveness and encouragement.

The Stone Center for Yoga & Health has been offering yoga, Pilates, stress reduction programs, yoga for osteoporosis, a monthly meditation circle, and teacher training, in Teaneck, NJ, since 1999.
