The Tuckerton Seaport and Baymen’s Museum is a 40 acre working maritime village located off GSP exit 58 on Tuckerton Creek in picturesque Tuckerton NJ. “One of the Top Regional, Attractions,” the calendar is full of fun (and educational) classes, demonstrations, interactive exhibits, hands on displays, events, festivals and more. Discover the Jersey Shore’s unique maritime heritage and the interaction between nature, culture and history on the Barnegat Bay through the Seaport’s 16 recreated and 3 historic buildings, 2 historic houseboats, and hundreds of hunting decoys. Decoy carvers, boat builders, basket makers and baymen entertain, educate and delight visitors of all ages. Stroll the 3/4 mile boardwalk and experience life on the "Crik". Identify birds and plants on our 1/4 mile nature trail. Tour our site and view over 75 wooden boats displayed on land and water: garveys, sneakboxes, cruising yachts and party boats. The Seaport also hosts the only NJ Surf Museum with over 50 surfboards and memorabilia. Enjoy our gift shop and ScoJo’s family restaurant on site.
