Wayne Valley High School Presents Fame, the Musical.
Fame, the Musical celebrates New York City's High School of the Performing Arts class of 1984, from freshman year through graduation. This was the last class to graduate from the original building before the school moved to its current Lincoln Center location. The musical was developed by David De Silva, who created the 1980 Television series based on the film, with a book by Jose Fernandez, music by Steve Margoshes and lyrics by Jacques Levy. Fame explores the "Hard Work" it takes to make it in the arts and challenges young people to commit fully to their dreams.
