Hagley Museum and Library welcomes 2010 Hagley Prize Winner Dr. David Suisman to speak about his recent book, Selling Sounds: the Commercial Revolution in American Music, on May 2, at 7 p.m. in the Hagley Soda House. Dr. Suisman, professor of history at the University of Delaware, will discuss the rise of the commercial music industry and the evolution of modern musical culture.
